If the Shoe Doesn't Fit, Why Wear It?

If Love is everywhere present and is our true nature, how come we are not always in harmony?

I believe Love is everywhere present but how people express the Love that they are is not the same. There are times when someone's way is simply not my cup of tea.

As I tend to use public computers in the library or at Internet cafes, I find it is always necessary for me to adjust the chair and configure the computer screen to suit my requirements. In other words, I need the working area to fit who I am and how I choose to express myself. I'm also aware that it's not enough to simply adjust the working area, I also have to make adjustments to the environment as well.

For instance, last time I was at the library, a guy working on the computer on my right was coughing and spluttering everywhere; while a woman on my left was also coughing and sneezing. There were also people coughing in the other areas. I reminded myself that I live in Love and I wasn't affected by them.

The moment I walked in this morning I started coughing and even sneezed a few times which seemed to me like the thought forms of coughs and colds were still in place. I decided to adjust the environment to fit my preference by projecting Light everywhere. In other words, I put out the intention that the Light of my True Self fills the whole building. I stopped coughing and felt better.

I would never buy shoes that don't fit, so why should I work or live in an environment that doesn't resonate with who I am?

If the shoe doesn't fit, why wear it?
