"Life is a dream made out of nothing, which makes all of us dreamers. We are dreaming lives - individually and collectively - that have nothing to do with the Uncaused, that is beginningless, endless and unchanging. All things that have a beginning/end come out of nothing.
"Here's the good news: if you can make yourself sick, angry, jealous, fearful, happy, joyful, depressed, out of nothing, it shows how powerful we all are as dreamers. We can dream up grander and more beautiful dreams effortlessly as we already know how to make a big deal out of nothing. The only snag is when you forget you are dreaming and take it seriously. This is when you need the opt-out clause like the one Lahiri Mahasaya used to snap his wife out of her delusion: "It is all nothing." Or as I would say, "There is no cause!"" It is All Nothing!
All creations and dreams come out of nothing.
All is nothing.
The only thing that is real is the ONE Light behind all creations.

Window Shopping
As the bus was driving by some shops, I noticed the mannequins in one shop window were all wearing white tops and black trousers. I thought one top looked very good on the mannequin.
Later in the evening as I was walking with a friend to the bus stop, he was attracted to a shop window, which happened to be a branch of the shop I'd been looking at earlier. The mannequins were wearing white tops and black trousers. My friend said they looked good and he thought the top would look good on me.
I told him I'd been looking at them earlier.
Is there an echo or what?
Is there an echo or what?
Touché!

Good Vibrations
During my bus journey I noticed a guy sitting with his eyes closed. He looked so adorable and peaceful and I felt so much love for him. He also reminded me of an actor that appears on a TV soap I sometimes watch. After admiring the guy for a few seconds, I turned my attention elsewhere. Then the guy opened his eyes and stared so intently in my eyes I had to look away.
I guess that's what happens when I give good vibes out, they return to me multiplied.
I'm reminded of the The Beach Boys song:

I'm reminded of the The Beach Boys song:
I'm pickin' up good vibrationsI'm sending good vibrations to everyone.
She's givin' me the excitations
I'm pickin' up good vibrations
(Ooo, bop-bop, good vibrations)
She's givin' me the excitations
(Bop-bop, excitations)
(Good, good, good, good vibrations) Good Vibrations, lyrics

Have Fun!
Mary Poppins:When I went to say goodbye to my mother this morning, I noticed she was getting ready to go out.
[Spoken]
In ev'ry job that must be done
There is an element of fun
You find the fun and snap!
The job's a game
[Sung]
And ev'ry task you undertake
Becomes a piece of cake
A lark! A spree! It's very clear to see that
A Spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down
The medicine go down-wown
The medicine go down
Just a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down
In a most delightful way A Spoonful of Sugar, lyrics
"You're going out then?" I said.
"Yes, I am."
"Well, have fun!"
"I don't know about having fun."
"Where are you off to?" I said. "Are you going to visit your friend?"
"No, I'm off to the surgery to have a flu jab. It's about time I had one."
"Have fun!"
"I will try and have fun with the flu jab," she chuckled. "Actually, you can have fun with everything. It's just that people don't see things that way."
"That's what I believe anyway. That's why I always say have fun."
"Well, you have fun whatever you get up to," my mother said.
"I will."
I believe that every moment is an opportunity to have fun. It doesn't matter what it is, there's a lot of fun to be had. Seeing life as fun transforms everything, even things I don't particularly like doing, from it being a chore and tedious to effortless and joyful. Seeing life as fun reveals the magic and wonder of life; and the ordinary becomes the extraordinary.
I'm not a huge fan of household chores but when I inject fun into them, I discovered cleaning can be effortless when I just relax and let it happen. I also discovered there are invisible beings who are willing to help in all aspects of life when I let them; and life becomes magical.
I don't particularly like cold weather but I think it's fun dressing up in a warm coat. The weather has also revealed a lot about myself. I find that when I'm not thinking, I feel neither hot nor cold. I also find when I focus on the weather being cold, it feels colder. However, when it's cold and I focus on feeling warm, it feels warm to me and the weather gets milder. The same is true for hot weather. If it's hot, I focus on it being cool and I end up feeling cool even if it's supposed to be a heat wave. Again, when it's stifling hot and I don't think about it, I feel neither hot nor cold.
I used to find travelling on buses pretty tedious until I focused on the fun element. Now my bus journeys are filled with magic and wonder.
Seeing everything as fun reminds me of dogs' attitudes. They seem to find delight in everything. Even when they are meant to be working, they seem to have fun doing so.
Incidentally, I emailed a friend and asked if he wanted to meet up later. Part of his response was: "Sounds quite fun." It's not surprising really as I've always found it fun being with this particular friend.
Every moment is full of fun. Have fun, whatever you get up to!

Reframing
I believe life is really what we all make of it. Put another way, life is about reframing i.e. attributing different meanings to what is inherently nothing.
For instance, I was chatting to my brother about diets. He believed I didn't put on weight because I do a lot of walking. I told him one reason why I don't put on weight is because I don't carry the memory of eating with me. Once I've finished eating that is the end of that experience. The next experience is a new.
My brother didn't believe me. He said, "You probably have a very fast metabolism."
I thought my brother had come up with an excellent reframing that fit his model of reality. As he sees it, my metabolism is so fast that as soon as I've finished eating, the food is quickly assimilated into my system.
Whatever reframing works.
